The intent of this solicitation and resultant contract is to support the Forest Service Drinking Water Program by awarding a single firm fixed contract for Water Testing Laboratory Services. This will be a base plus four option year contract. Questions and Answers added 2/23/2024. The Forest Service will collect IAW the Forest Service Sampling Manual and deliver samples from seven separate locations monthly. They will deliver to the laboratory drop off location with 24 hours of collection. The laboratory will perform a Coliform Analysis – Colilert to each sample and the results returned to the Forest Service within five business days. See attachments for specifications. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation is the lowest price technically acceptable.
