There are four mandatory work units totaling approximately 40 acres (see Table 1 below) and two optional work units totaling 9 acres (see Table 2 below). The project area is in the Francis Marion Seed Orchard in Huger, SC. The boundaries of the sites are well defined on the ground by tree lines, roads, and/or flagging. If additional units and funding becomes available, USFS may negotiate with contractor to add work to this contract.
