(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice in conjunction with FAR Subpart 13 simplified acquisition procedures for Mechanical Sand Pine Seeding for Ocala National Forest, Umatilla, FL. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The intent of this combined solicitation is to award a single contract for Mechanical Sand Pine Scrub Seeding for 2,200 acres, for Ocala National Forest, Umatilla, FL using a farm tractor with government-furnished: Sand Pine Seed & Big Scrub Spot Seeder. The Period of Performance will be 49 days from date of award. (ii) This solicitation is issued as Request for Quote (RFQ) 12444122Q0005. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-07. (iv) This procurement is set aside for 100% Total Small Business Set Aside. The NAICS code is 115310 Support Activities for Forestry and the Small Business Size Standard is $8.0Mil.
