Pre-Solicitation Notice The US Forest Service Procurement and Property Services (PPS) – East Zone intends to issue a solicitation for a pontoon boat for the Savannah River Forest Station located in New Ellenton, SC 29809. The boat shall have the following salient characteristics: • US Coast Guard Approved 18’ – 22’ twin tube float platform with composite deck • 90 – 200 Hp 4 cycle maximum horsepower as per manufactures specifications. • 15-20 HP 4-stroke Kicker outboard motor (for emergency use) mounted • Fixed 30 – 40 GL fuel tank • Accessible inline fuel/water separator • 11-13 passenger and crew limit • Bimini top to cover minimum 60% of seating space • 12v duel Marine Battery System with 1/2/Both marine switch system • LED running light system • South Carolina DOT approved wired Trailer, LED Lighting system with 2-inch ball receiver • Boat Cover • Options: Depth Finder, USB Ports, green trim The US Coast Guard approved pontoon vessel is to be delivered to USDA Forest Service at the Savannah River Site, New Ellenton, SC ready for service. The solicitation for this requirement will be posted on BetaSam sometime between August 25 and August 30, 2021. The award date is projected to be sometime before September 30, 2021. VENDORS MUST BE ACTIVE IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME PROPOSALS ARE DUE TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR AWARD.
