This combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial services is prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued as Requested for Quote (RFQ) 12444024Q0073. FAR clauses and provisions enclosed within full text are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (AC) 2005-101 and are available in full text through internet access at http://www.acquisition.gov/far. The National Forests and Grasslands in Texas, located at 2221 N. Raguet Street, Lufkin, Angelina County, Texas 75904, have a requirement to perform janitorial services at the Forest Supervisor's office in Lufkin, as further detailed in the Performance Work Statment. This solicitation will result in a single award on the basis of technical capability, past performance, and price, as best meets the needs of the government. The proposed contracts will have a base period of 6/15/2025. A site visit is not mandatory for award considerations but is highly encouraged. The government will not reimburse any costs incurred. Raguet Street, Lufkin, Texas. The contractor shall assign to the contract proposal a list of personnel who will actually be doing the hands-on work. If awarded and there is a change of two or more staff, the contract may result in termination with no advance notice. The USDA Forest Service encourages the participation of small, disadvantaged, service-disabled, and women-owned business enterprises. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561720, and the small business size standard is $19.5 million. The solicitation for this project will be available only through the Federal Business Opportunities website, www.fbo.gov. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. All responsible, qualified small businesses may submit an offer, which will be considered by the Forest Service. The performance of this contract is subject to the Service Contract Act. Offerors are encouraged to visit the Department of Labor Wage Determinations Online website (sam.gov) to determine prevailing wage rates in Anelina County, Texas, prior to submitting an offer.
