This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Janitorial Services on the Talladega Ranger District.of the Talladega National Forests, National Forests in Alabama. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, transportation, equipment and supplies to provide janitorial services at the Talladega Ranger District Office and Work Center. All work performed by the contractor shall be performed in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, instructions, and commercial practices in the accordance with the Solicitation Provisions, Contract Clauses, Technical Specifications, and Attachements. This Combined Synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation for this project. This is 100 percent set aside for small businesses under NAICS code 561720 and small business standard is 19.5 million. The Government anticipates the award of one (1) Firm-Fixed Price contract as a result of this solicitation. The evaluation factors for award and instructions to quoters/offerors are included in the attached Solicitation. Work on this contract is expected to commence on April 19th or soon thereafter and continue through September 30,2023 for the initial base year period. There will be four (4) additional option years which, if exercised by the Government, extend the period of performance through September 30, 2027 SITE VISIT No formal site visit is scheduled for this project.
