However, the contactor that is awarded the contract normally get the maps upon requested prior to planting starting. Some of the planting sites have not been harvested. One of the key points to know is all the tree projects areas will be burned prior planting. The government WILL be delivering all longleaf and shortleaf pine seedlings for this contract. There will be 161 acres of planting in 8 units for FY23 on my two Districts. The maps are not attached. One of the key points to know is all the tree projects areas will be burned prior planting. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This will be a Requirement’s contract, which will be awarded to a single Offeror to provide Tree Planting services throughout the National Forests in Alabama. Funding will be provided on each Task Order. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision, supplies, and perform all work required to plant Longleaf pine containerized tree seedlings in accordance with specifications and provisions of the Contract. No materials, labor or equipment will be furnished by the Government unless specifically identified in the Government - Furnished Property Specification.
