Pre-Fabricated Portable Bridge 45’ Long by 16’ Wide in support of the Cherokee National Forest, Ocoee Ranger District, located in Polk County Tennessee. The prefabricated steel bridge shall be delivered to the US Forest Service, Ocoee Work Center Cherokee NF, 227 Hwy 30 Benton, TN 37307-5823. Ocoee Work Center 35° 6'59.67"N, 84°34'33.41"W= 35.116574, -84.575947 Contractor shall include offloading services of bridge materials at the delivery location. A list of local contractors able to assist with off-loading services may be provided upon request. This solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, 'Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items," as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Delivery Period: Delivery of the prefabricated steel bridge(s) shall occur after September 1st, 2021, but no later than December 1, 2021. This procurement is set aside 100% for small business concerns. Only offers from small business concerns will be accepted. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 423860 – Transportation Equipment and Supplies (except Motor Vehicle) Merchant Wholesalers with a small business size standard of 150 Employees. All vendors wishing to submit a quote to the solicitation described herein must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (http://sam.gov/) or risk their otherwise timely quotation being considered non-responsive regardless of its completeness, timeliness or other salient considerations. The resultant contract, if any, will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. Pre-Fabricated Portable Bridge 45’ long by 16’ wide (clear width) prefabricated steel, portable bridge with 30 degree skew. This project consists of designing, fabricating, and delivering a prefabricated portable steel vehicle bridge superstructure and additional components. The bridge clear width between the curbs shall be 16 feet. Forest Service does not intend to initially place this bridge into service immediately but will need to store it until a site is clearly identified at a future date. As a result, Forest Service will require clear instructions on proper bridge assembly using standard industry construction equipment from the vendor.
