United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service, Cherokee National Forest in Tennessee is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) under the number 12444021Q0004. The resultant contract, if any, will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. In support of Vault and Septic Toilet Pumping Services for the Tellico Ranger District, located in Tellico Plains (Monroe County), Tennessee. This solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, 'Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items," as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Period of Performance: The Base Period will begin at award and the Government anticipates an Eight (8) month base performance period with four (4) twelve (12) month option year periods. Each successive Option Year Period (if exercised) is anticipated to be a 12 month performance period and will begin immediately upon expiration of the previous performance period. The anticipated contract period is May 01, 2021 through December 31, 2021. This procurement is set aside 100% for small business concerns. Only offers from small business concerns will be accepted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 562991 Septic Tank and Related Services, with a Small business size standard of $8.0M. Please ensure you have or have added this NAICS in System for Award Management (SAM). All firms wishing to submit a quote to the solicitation described herein must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (http://beta.sam.gov/) or risk their otherwise timely quotation being considered non-responsive regardless of its completeness, timeliness or other salient considerations. Information on SAM registration can be obtained at the following web site: http://beta.sam.gov/. The Contractor must be actively registered with no exceptions in SAM to be awarded any resultant contract. If there are any questions, please email Tony Duncan at tony.duncan@usda.gov. All questions must be received by March 26, 2021, 4:00pm, Eastern Standard Time (EST). Quotes must be emailed to Tony Duncan at tony.duncan@usda.gov by no later than April 02, 2021, 4:00pm, Eastern Standard Time (EST). It is the offeror's responsibility to ensure the quote has been received by the contracting office by email confirmation. Fax quotes will not be accepted. Late quotes will be processed in accordance with FAR 52.212-1(1) "Late submission, modifications, revisions, and withdrawals of offers." Site Visit- Offerors are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to view/visit the locations before proposing due to the variability of locations involved. Notice to Offerors: The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Services Contract. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an Offeror for any costs.
