Description of Requirement This is a Synopsis in accordance with FAR 5.2 Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions. Anticipated Solicitation Number: 12443925Q0024 Closing Response Date: 11 September 2025 Procedure used to solicit and award contract: FAR Part 13 Projected Period of Performance: Base with 4 option years -- 01 Oct 2025 thru 30 September 2030 Set-aside: Total Small Business Project Description: The Contractor shall provide all personnel, materials, equipment, supplies and incidentals (except Government furnished property, if any) to provide veterinary services for captive herds of elk and bison on location. This will include but not limited to annual inoculations, testing, health checks and records for transport and regulatory compliance testing, prescriptions and medical services for animal care and illness needs as per the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). This procurement will be issued as a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 541940, Veterinary Services, and the Small Business Size Standard is $7.5M. Location - The Elk and Bison Prairie is located on the East side of the Woodlands Trace National Scenic Byway (also KY-453) just north of the intersection of Highway 68 and the Trace on LBL. - The South Bison Range is located on the West side of the Woodlands Trace National Scenic Byway (also TN-461) just south of the KY/TN state line on LBL. This location is across the Trace from ‘The Homeplace 1850.’ Additional Information: This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quote (RFQ), or an Invitation for Bid (IFB). No contract or order will be awarded from this notice. The Government is not liable for any vendor effort or cost incurred as a result of this notice, including but not limited to effort and costs associated with vendors’ preparation and submission of responses.
