For the purposes of the Performance Work Statement (PWS), the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service (FS) Land Between The Lakes (LBL) National Recreation Area (NRA) shall be referred to as either LBL or the Government. The Offeror(s) for work covered by this PWS shall be referred to as the Contractor. All work shall be in compliance with all appropriate local, State, and Federal rules, regulations, codes, laws, and the Forest Service Handbook (FSH). The Contractor shall at all times observe and comply with those laws and regulations in effect at contract award, as well as new legislation and amendments that become effective during the term of this contract. The intent of this PWS is to establish a contract to satisfy a need for a “turnkey” service to replace the existing centralized reservation system that is used by LBL for providing online reservations and permits, field sales for walk-in registrations, self-service registration, permits, admissions, tickets, tours, merchandise, revenue management, and data collection. All requirements of the contract shall be presented in English. Further, this must be a web-based service off the shelf system. The Contractor shall submit a proposal for this PWS. The system shall accommodate implementation of launch dates, updates, and options to accept reservations for specified sites, dates and inventory.
