This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Herbicide chemical treatment on the George Washington Jefferson National Forests. The Government will furnish georeferenced maps and shapefile for all units to be uploaded onto a GPS unit that will be used to identify unit boundaries accurately. The contractor shall provide transportation for all equipment, herbicide, personnel, fuel, water, and supplies to the site and shall be responsible for providing the appropriate security of equipment and property left on site. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for commercial services, as supplemented with the additional information in this notice. The solicitation is issued under Solicitation Number 12443923Q0020 and the solicitation is included in this notice as an attachment. SITE VISIT There are no scheduled site visits at this time. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns. If interested please review the solicitation in its entirety and return your complete offer no later than 5:00 PM ET on Monday, April 3, 2023. All interested firms are advised that registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) is required to be eligible for award of contract. The Forest Service contemplates award of a firm-fixed price contract as a result of the combined synopsis/ solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
