This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Prescribed Fireline Preparation on multiple burn units on the George Washington Jefferson National Forests. The Government will furnish PDF maps of the burn unit boundaries no other materials, labor, or equipment for these units will be provided. It is expected that the Contractor will furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision, supplies, and perform all work required. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for commercial services, as supplemented with the additional information in this notice. The solicitation is issued under Solicitation Number 12443923Q0019 and the solicitation is included in this notice as an attachment. SITE VISIT There is no scheduled site visit at this time. Special arrangements may be made to provide access for inspection prior to the opening date by contacting Mark Miller at the Eastern Divide Ranger District at 540-239-3520. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns. If interested please review the solicitation in its entirety and return your complete offer no later than 5:00 PM ET on Friday, March 31, 2023. All interested firms are advised that registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) is required to be eligible for award of contract. For more information, please check the SAM website at https://www.sam.gov. Registration in SAM is free. The Forest Service contemplates award of a firm-fixed price contract as a result of the combined synopsis/ solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
