The George Washington and Jefferison national Forests have an on going requirement to perform various road mainteance work, to include culvert replacement, culvert repair, grading of aggregate surface... The George Washington and Jefferison national Forests have an on going requirement to perform various road mainteance work, to include culvert replacement, culvert repair, grading of aggregate surfaced roads, spot surface repairs, hualing aggrigate, cleaning and reshaping of existing ditches on existing Forest Service roads. Road mainteance is considered a service that falls under Service Contract Act wage rates. Applicable wage rates will be determined by the preponderance of teh work on individual task orders. The solicitation will result in award of one or more than one performanced-based requirement contracts having a base and 4, one year options. Submission of an offer for the base contract period constitutes an offer to perform in the option period(s), if exercised. The USDA Forest Service encourages the participation of small, disadvantaged, service disabled veteran, and women owned business enterprises. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NACIS) code is 237310 and the small business size standard is $39.5 million. All responsible, qualified small businesses may submit an offer, which will be considered by tehh Forest Service. All Offerors shall be registered at the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov) to be eligable for award. The solicitation for this project will be available only through teh www.beta.sam.gov Contracting Opportunities web site.
