This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, FAR Subpart 13 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Offers are being requested and Solicitation No. 12443921Q0013 with attachments is uploaded to this notice and incorporated into the combined synopsis/solicitation. This combined synopsis/solicitation is for an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity Equipment Rental with Operator contract on the Stearns Ranger District of the Daniel Boone National Forest in McCreary, Pulaski, Wayne and Whitley Counties, Kentucky in accordance with the attached schedule of items, specifications, terms and conditions and attachments. The contract is for a Base Year period with up to four additional option years, if exercised. There is no formal site showing for this project. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code is 115310 and the Small Business Size Standard is $8 Million. All interested offerors are advised that registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) is required to be eligible for award of a contract. The Forest Service contemplates award of a firm-fixed price contract as a result of this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
