Description: USDA Forest Service, Apalachicola National Forest has a Request for Quote (RFQ) for – Services: MT Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) Preventative Maintenance. Contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, transportation, labor, supervision, and other associated work necessary to complete work according to the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Scope of Work: Contractor will provide factory trained technicians to perform HVAC Preventative Maintenance and Operational service calls. The First Year of this Contract will be the base year, with four subsequent option years following. Services shall include the maintenance and associated treatment, minor repair, and support for the HVAC mechanical systems. Any discrepancies between this PWS and actual conditions shall be reported immediately to the CO/COR. Covered components will include: 1) Automatic Temperature Controls 2) Heating Equipment 3) Cooling Equipment 4) Any Equipment Related to These Systems (See Attached Equipment List) Location: The principal place of performance for this contract will be in the located at the National Technology and Development Program, 5785 Hwy 10 West, Missoula, MT 59808. Contractors MUST be located near worksite; travel costs will NOT be paid for. All work under this contract is subject to the Service Contract Act. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price contract using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. This procurement will be solicited using North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 238220 — HVAC (heating, ventilation and air-conditioning) contractors, with a small business size standard of $16.5M. A Request for Quote (RFQ) for this acquisition will be released on or about August 1, 2023, and will close on or about August 14, 2023. It is anticipated that the contract will begin on or about September 1, 2023. This acquisition will be competed as a 100% Small Business Set Aside. This Pre-solicitation Notice seeks to provide information to interested parties about potential opportunity to perform the construction, additions, alterations, or maintenance and repairs as described above. This Pre-solicitation Notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. Respondents are advised that the United States (U.S) Government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this Pre-solicitation Notice.
