Description: USDA Forest Service, Apalachicola National Forest has a Request for Proposals (RFP) for – Services: Briar Patch Road Maintenance. Contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, transportation, labor, supervision, and other associated work necessary to complete work according to the Statement of Work. Scope of Work: This project consists of providing all materials, equipment and vehicles, labor, tools, parts, transportation, and incidentals to provide Briar Patch Road Maintenance. This project consists of soil erosion and pollution control, removing and disposing old culverts, constructing a 100’ low water crossing, roadway aggregate (lime rock), roadway recondition, road and ditch reconditioning, culvert installation, and temporary traffic control. Location: The principle place of performance for this contract will be in the Apalachicola National Forest, Liberty County, FL. A site visit will be held on 21 June 2022 at 10:00 EDT. The location for the site visit is Apalach Work Center, 23288 County Road 12 NW, Bristol, FL 32321-4147. (Latitude: 30.288561, Longitude: -85.017565). Prospective Offerors are strongly encouraged to attend. All work under this contract is subject to the Service Contract Act.
