Description This work shall consist of: applicable Architectural and Engineering (A/E) services per specified pay items, construction surveying and staking as designed by A/E, erosion control measures, dewatering structures installation and removal after final acceptance, clearing and grubbing, the removal and resetting of historic rocks/stones located on the boundary of the trail surface in approved areas only, excavation, geotextile placement, concrete work, fill slope and cut slopes designs and repairs, trail re-surfacing, installing rock culverts, removal and demolition as specified in drawings, riprap armoring as specified, hauling off of excessive excavation and accumulated sediment material. This proposed solicitation includes The project is located on the El Yunque National Forest in Puerto Rico which include the following trails: Angelito Trail Head Mt. Britton Trail Head Caimitillo Trail Head Caimitillo Spur Trail Head El Yunque Trail Head Peak Bano De Oro Trail Head Per FAR 36.203(f) The Government’s estimated magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Contract performance shall be complete by 31 May 2023. Estimated start work date is 18 Jul 2022. This project is set-aside for small businesses. The small business size standard is $39.5 million average annual receipts. 100% Payment and 100% Performance Bond will be required within 15 Days of award. Solicitation will be available for download from sam.gov on or about 5/16/22. No additional information is available at this time. A site visit will be held, details will be in the solicitation. NOTE: prospective awardee shall be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) data base when submitting an offer, and shall continue to be registered until time of award, during performance, and through final payment of a contract resulting from this solicitation. All contractors and vendors must complete the electronic version of the Representations and Certifications in the SAM system.
