Description: USDA Forest Service, Apalachicola National Forest has a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for – Services: Briar Patch Cruising and Marking. Contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, transportation, labor, supervision, and other associated work necessary to complete work according to the Statement of Work. Scope of Work: This contract is for furnishing all labor, supplies, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to Layout, Mark and Cruise perspective timber sales. The objective of this contract is to prepare timber sales for upcoming ecosystem restoration treatments resulting from damage to the Forest from Hurricane Michael. This project focuses on the restoration of the longleaf pine ecosystem by harvesting slash pine and restoring longleaf pine to its historic locations. Location: The principle place of performance for this contract will be in the Apalachicola National Forest, Liberty County, FL. (See Attached Maps.) All work under this contract is subject to the Service Contract Act. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price contract using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. This procurement will be solicited using North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 115310—Support Activities for Forestry, with a small business size standard of $8M.
