This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, streamlined procedures for evaluation and solicitation for commercial items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2020-04 January 15, 2020. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED. This solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ). This acquisition is being procured using full and open competition. Simplified acquisition procedures will be utilized. The USDA Forest Service, Southern Region 8 requires a conference venue or meeting rooms for a Wildland Fire Training and future trainings and meetings. The training is scheduled for Monday, November 16, 2020 through Friday, November 20, 2020. The facility for this training must be able to accommodate approximately 600 people for meeting rooms and breakout sessions. This procurement action is subject to limited competition based upon geographical region. The meeting facility shall be limited to the 400 miles of the Southern Regional Office as defined in the RFQ. Future requirements may be different dependent on the customer and will be defined at the task order level. The Government anticipates the award of one or more firm fixed-price, commercial IDIQ contracts. Award(s) will be made to the responsible offerors whose quotes respond to the terms of the RFQ and is advantageous to the government. This acquisition is being procured using full and open competition. The applicable NAICS is 721110, resort hotels without casinos, which has a size standard of $35.0 million. Active SAM Registration is required in order to be awarded the contract and must be active throughout the period of performance.
