GENERAL INFORMATION The Bankhead Ranger District, 1070 Alabama Hwy 33, Double Springs, AL 35553 in Winston County has a requirement for Wildlife Opening Mowing and Disking Services. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, "Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items," as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only notice. A written solicitation document will not be issued. This requirement is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-03, Effective 12 July 2019. This procurement is set aside 100% for small business concerns. Only offers from small business concerns will be accepted. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 115310 (Support Activities for Forestry) with a small business size standard of $7.5M. Please ensure you have or have added this (NAICS code in System for Award Management (SAM). SEE ATTACHED SF1449 FOR SOLICATION PARTICULARS. PLEASE PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE INSTRUCTIONS IN FAR PROVISION 52.212-1 AND 52.212-2 AND ADDENDUM. NO BONDING IS REQUIRED. The Contractor must be actively registered with no exceptions in SAM to be awarded any resultant contract. If there are any questions, please email Paula Reinhard at paula.reinhard@usda.gov. All questions must be received by 09 July 2019, 2:00pm, Central Standard Time (CST). Quotes must be emailed to Paula Reinhard at paula.reinhard@usda.gov by no later than 16 July 2019, 2:00pm CST. It is the offeror's responsibility to ensure the quote has been received by the contracting office by email confirmation. Fax quotes will not be accepted. Late quotes will be processed in accordance with FAR 52.212-1(f) "Late submission, modifications, revisions, and withdrawals of offers." Site Visit - There will not be a formal site visit. Offerors are encouraged to visit the sites prior to submitting bids. Period of Performance: The Base Period will begin at award and the Government anticipates a 12 month performance period. Each successive Option Period (if exercised) is anticipated to be a 12 month performance period and will begin immediately upon expiration of the previous performance period. Notice to Offerors: The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Requirements contract for this requirement. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an Offeror for any costs.
