THE SOLICITATION FOR THIS PROJECT WILL BE POSTED ON OR ABOUT August 22, 2025 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The US Forest Service (USFS) plans to remodel the historic Seeley bunkhouse back into serviceability for year-round use. The bulk of the work is interior and will involve remodel of the existing main level restrooms and kitchen and the construction of a new restroom and two bedrooms on the upper level. The remodel also includes the addition of exterior envelope insulation, replacement of all electrical wiring and service, a new electrical heating system, and all new interior plumbing. Exterior work is limited to replace of the back screen door, upper level window replacement for egress, exterior lighting replacement, and perimeter gravel. The existing building comprises approximately 1,694 Sq. Ft. of floor space. The option items of this contract include (1) refinish wood floor, (2) kitchen peninsula, (3) casework, (4) closet fit-outs, (5) bunkhouse roof, (6) exterior portion of chimney replacement, (7) heat recovery ventilator, and (8) window shades. PROJECT LOCATION: 3583 Highway 83N, Seeley Lake, MT Contractors shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, transportation, supplies (unless specified elsewhere as Government-furnished), and incidentals required to accomplish specified work in compliance with the terms, specifications, and provisions of the contract. This project is set aside 100% for small business.
