This project is for the stone masonry repairs to the granite Roosevelt Obelisk. Also known as the Roosevelt Monument, it is located at Memorial Square on top of Marias Pass on the Rocky Mountain Ranger District of the Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest (see attached location maps). The obelisk needs to repointed, cracks in the granite block façade need repaired, the surrounding stone paving base needs to be reset, and the adjacent sandstone base of the John Stevens statue needs to be repointed and the missing top course refabricated.
