Pre Solicitation Notice The work consists of fence removal, clearing, and construction around a US Army Corps of Engineering designated wetland area.. Fence lines go through riparian areas as well as upland areas near the Shields Campground area on the Yellowstone Ranger District of the Custer Gallatin National Forest. Work includes furnishing all labor, support functions, equipment, supervision, transportation, fence supplies, and incidentals necessary for fence construction and associated work specified herein. All work shall be completed and finished to industry standards and shall be in compliance with the terms, specifications, and provisions of this contract. Work includes but is not limited to removal of old fence, clearing of trees, construction of new fences and incidental work as needed. All motorized equipment used will be in good mechanical condition and operated by competent, experienced in performing the work required. Project Location. The project is located within the burnt area of the American Fork Fire, north of Livingston MT in the Crazy Mountains on the Yellowstone Ranger District. It encompasses the Shields River Campground and the Crandall Creek Cabin approximately 54 miles north of Livingston, Montana. Access to the project site is through public roads and does not require permission. Magnitude of Construction Less than $25,000. Project Site Visit There will be no site visit for this project.
