GAOA Trail Bridge Maintenance at Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center on the Helena Lewis & Clark National Forest Description: BASE BID: Contractor shall remove all wood framing and decking of the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center (LCIC) trail bridge and replace in kind with pressure-preservative treated lumber. Work includes the replacement of the wood posts and metal railing serving the trail bridge to include both approaches. OPTIONAL ITEM: Contractor shall replace the trail fencing system serving both the uphill and downhill sides of the trail bridge as shown in the drawings. Trail fence consists of short 4x4 posts with rope between posts. Contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, tools, etc. necessary to complete the work. All waste and excess materials generated from construction shall be disposed of off of Forest Service lands and in compliance with governing federal, state, and local laws. Project Location: Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center 4201 Giant Springs Road Great Falls, MT 59405 Contract Time: Contractor will be allowed 30 calendar days to complete the work.
