Sandpoint Ranger District project consists of Full Depth Reclamation, which includes scarification, milling and pulverizing, watering, shaping, grading and roller compacting of approximately 3.90 miles of FSR 1091 Lunch Peak road including the shoulders and turnouts. Placement of 250 cubic yards of commercial source surfacing aggregate material. Work will also include ditch reconditioning, including pulling ditches, disposing of material and cleaning culverts. Removal of 1 old gate and furnishing and installing a new gate and signs. Additive items might be awarded and include the removal and replacement of 6 culverts and construction of 6 drain dips. Additive items will involve excavation, removal and proper disposal of existing culverts. In place of the old culverts, new culverts will be placed. Additionally, bedding material will be obtained from a commercial source and compacted around the culvert. The culverts will be armored at the inlet and outlet with Government Source Riprap material. Commercial source surfacing material will be hauled and placed, to re-establish the road surface over the culverts. Project can be accessed from Sandpoint by taking HWY 200 East for approx. 14.5 miles and left onto FSR 275 Trestle Creek road for approx. 11.7 miles to Lunch Peak Road at Milepost 0.00, beginning of the project.
