The project involves constructing approximately 0.5 miles of barbwire drift fencing near Kalamazoo Campground on the Ely Ranger District to exclude active grazing from the campground. The fencing is intended to reduce livestock-related safety hazards and public complaints while protecting newly installed recreational infrastructure. Work includes approximately 2,500 feet of new barbwire fence and an estimated four 12-foot wire gates, priced as a lump sum.
