THE SOLICITATION FOR THIS PROJECT WILL BE POSTED ON OR ABOUT JULY 31, 2024. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The GAOA Brainard Lake Recreation Area Deferred Maintenance project will consist of work at three recreation sites near Ward, Colorado. Work will include renovating one trailhead, two picnic grounds and replacement of two vault toilet structures, one asphalt parking area and associated sitework to improve accessibility to these recreation areas. PROJECT LOCATION: Red Rock Lake Picnic Ground is approximately 0.25 miles west of the main Brainard Lake Recreation Area entrance gate and fee station on NFSR 112.0. Coordinates: 40° 4'58.43"N, 105°32'27.87"W Niwot Trailhead is approximately 2 miles west of Red Rock Lake Picnic Ground on NFSR 112.0. Coordinates: 40° 4'35.31"N, 105°34'38.38"W Arickaree Picnic Ground is approximately 0.3 miles north of Niwot Trailhead on NFSR 112.0. Coordinates: 40° 4'44.84"N, 105°34'36.48"W Contractors shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, transportation, supplies (unless specified elsewhere as Government-furnished), and incidentals required to accomplish specified work in compliance with the terms, specifications, and provisions of the contract.
