Description: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Proposals shall only be requested and accepted from contractors who are a Small Business AND certified in System for Award Management (SAM, https://sam.gov). The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), United States Forest Service (USFS), has a requirement for but not limited to the following: 124OLT23R0047- GAOA Crag Crest Trail Restoration Project, GMUG National Forest, Colorado. This project consists of the contractor furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary for: GAOA funded project for restoration of the length of the Crag Crest National Recreation Trail, including restoration of clearing and tread, drainage structures including Rock Waterbars, Drainage Dips and Hardened Stream Fords, restoration of Talus sections, Turnpikes, Switchbacks, Barricades and Retaining Walls and replacement of Signposts with contractor furnished posts and government furnished Signs. Project Location: State of Colorado, GMUG National Forest, Ouray & Gunnison Ranger Districts, Colorado. Solicitation Number 124OLT23R0047 for this effort will be posted to SAM.gov (https://sam.gov) on or about May 22, 2023. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings, and other information necessary submit a proposal for this project. The solicitation will include site visit information if one is deemed necessary. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is expected to be between $250,000 and $500,000.
