Presolicitation Notice Crawford Modular Bunkhouse Boise National Forest/Cascade Ranger District Project Description: This project involves preparation, site work, utilities, and furnishing and installation of a new modular bunkhouse at the Crawford Guard Station site on the Boise National Forest, near Cascade, Idaho. The project includes Base Bid and Optional Bid Items. Base Bid Work includes the following: Demolition: Demolish and dispose of the existing facility #1117 “Crawford Dwelling” that is approximately 350 SF. Remove and dispose of concrete foundations to 2’ below grade. Regrade site. Construction work includes the following: Installation of new utilities and modification of existing utilities as required in the drawings and specifications, including water, sewer, electricity, cable and telephone. Furnishing and installation of a modular bunkhouse building as shown in the drawings and specifications, including utility connections. See Schedule of Items. Base bid buildings to be completed and installed are: Accessible Modular Bunkhouse Building #1(1560 sf), including the concrete foundation, accessible ramp, stairs and railings. This includes connection and utilities of the bunkhouse Grading the entire site as shown on the drawings. Construction of new parking area(s) and driveway. The installation of the electrical feeders for all base bid buildings are included. See schedule of items. Installation of main electrical feeder and all related work, not including the feeder spurs to the Option buildings which are included in the Bid Options as shown below. Installation of concrete curb stops, concrete walkways, and signs. Installation of landscape items: Quantities associated with these options are identified in the Schedule of Items. Project Location: The project is located on Forest Service property, approximately 3 miles east of the central part of Cascade Idaho. Coordinates are 44.528996, -115.978493 at the intersection of a Forest Service Road #430 and Warm Lake Road, Cascade, Idaho. Contract Time: 180 Calendar Days The magnitude of proposed project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Project drawings will be provided as attachments to the Request for Proposal (RFP).
