Description: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Proposals shall only be requested and accepted from contractors who are a Small Business AND certified in System for Award Management (SAM, https://sam.gov). The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), United States Forest Service (USFS), has a requirement for but not limited to the following: 1240LT23R0026: GAOA Mad Creek Bridge Replacement Project, Medicine Bow National Forest. This project consists of the contractor furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals as follows: Design, fabricate, transport, and install a new steel prefabricated bridge superstructure with timber running planks, precast grade beam on geogrid foundation, and concrete wingwalls. The Mad Creek Trail Bridge was physically located on National Forest System Road (NFSR) 128.1/National Forest System Trail (NFST) 1171.1 which spanned Mad Creek, approximately 10 miles north of Steamboat Springs in Routt County, Colorado (106.8671346° W, 40.5863629°N). Solicitation 1240LT23R0026 for this effort will be posted to SAM.gov (https://sam.gov) on or about April 17, 2023. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings, and other information necessary submit a proposal for this project. There is currently no official group site visit scheduled. The solicitation will include site visit information if one is deemed necessary. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is expected to be between $250,000 and $500,000.
