SOLICITATION POSTING 452.237-71 Pre-Bid/Pre-Proposal Conference (FEB 1988) (a) The Government is planning a pre-proposal conference, during which potential offerors may obtain a better understanding of the work required. (b) Offerors are encouraged to submit all questions in writing at least five (5) days prior to the conference. Questions will be considered at any time prior to or during the conference; however, offerors will be asked to confirm verbal questions in writing. Subsequent to the conference, an amendment to the solicitation containing an abstract of the questions and answers, and a list of attendees, will be disseminated. (c) In order to facilitate conference preparations, it is requested that the person named on the Standard Form 1442 of this solicitation be contacted and advised of the number of persons who will attend. (d) The Government assumes no responsibility for any expense incurred by an offeror prior to contract award. (e) Offerors are cautioned that, notwithstanding any remarks or clarifications given at the conference, all terms and conditions of the solicitation remain unchanged unless they are changed by amendment to the solicitation. If the answers to conference questions, or any solicitation amendment, create ambiguities, it is the responsibility of the offeror to seek clarification prior to submitting an offer. Presolicitation Notice 1240LT23R0021 GAOA Kents Lake Corridor Fence Exclosures Fishlake National Forest, Beaver UT DESCRIPTION OF WORK The Beaver District of the Fishlake National Forest intends by the issuance of this project to acquire services to demo and install various types of fence near Kents Lake, Tushar Lakeside, Little Res., Mahogany Cove Campground on the Beaver Ranger District. This work includes: Install approximately 7009 feet of 3 Pole/Post Fence Install approximately 8302 feet of Single Pole/3 Wire and Post Fence Install approximately 400 feet of Buck N Rail Fence Install 5 gates Option Items: Demo approximately 6970 feet of existing Logworm Fence, Retrofit approximately 683 feet of existing 2 pole/post fence Install 24’ cattleguard and relocate signs, kiosk, and fee tube. The Contractor will provide all materials, labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, tools, and incidentals necessary to construct said fence as specified and shown. Project Location The Work described in the Contract is located on the Beaver Ranger District, Fishlake National Forest, at the locations listed above. Contract Time: 110 Days from Notice to Proceed with an anticipated start date of June 2023. Cattel Guard (Option Item) shall be installed after September 10, 2023. The magnitude of proposed project is between $250,000 to $500,000. Project drawings will be provided as attachments to the Request for Proposal (RFP). The complete solicitation package will be attached and made available only through SAM.gov, https://sam.gov/content/home on or within 15 days of this notice. Anyone wishing to participate in this proposed procurement must obtain their copy from SAM.gov. Copies will not be mailed from the Contracting Office. All amendments will be posted on SAM.gov.
