Description of Work: Work includes, but is not limited to, the demolition of two buildings, haul off, and disposal of demolished materials. The Shop is a 960 sq. ft building with a wood frame and corrugated metal siding. The Mess Hall (Building #5) is an 834 sq. ft wood building. This solicitation has been revised to include required asbestos abatement. (Description of work on the SF-18 is actually the location, this will be amended after the site visit when we provide Q&As) Location: The Shop and the Mess Hall are both located within the Sierra Ancha Experimental Forest. From Apache Junction, take State Highway 88 northeast to Roosevelt on Lake Roosevelt and then southeast to Highway 288. Turn on to Highway 288 and follow it north until the pavement ends, and then continue on the dirt road until you pass the Arizona DOT workstation. Just past it is a Sierra Ancha Experimental Forest sign on the right, and you will find an access road with a gate to enter the site. (GILA COUNTY, AZ) Magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. This is a small business set-aside (NAICS: 238910 / $19.0M) There is a site visit scheduled for August 1st, 2023 at 10 AM (Local Time, Arizona, MST), 11 AM (Mountain Time, Denver).
