This project is removal of old corral and installation of new corral 37°57'41.64"N 106°29'52.88"W. Contractor is responsible for deconstructing and removing old corral. Corral is constructed of old railroad ties, rough cut lumber and miscellaneous wire. New corral construction supplies will be provided. Contractor responsible for hauling material to project site from Monte Vista, CO at Forest Service Ad Site. Contractor responsible for providing all equipment to complete work such as welder, generator, welding supplies (sticks), fuel, trailer, and truck. New construction will follow blueprint attached. Construction will be drill stem posts with prefabricated continuous fence panels and hung gates. All welds should be structurally sound and clean. All posts and panels should be level and with a straight trajectory. All posts will be 2 3/8” drill stem sunk 3ft in the ground set in concrete. Holes should be 8” in diameter. Posts should be approximately 10ft spacing. Concrete fill will be 25lbs of dry concrete, mixed on site. On site water will be provided. Gate posts should be 15ft to accommodate the overhang. Continuous fence panels shall be at least 1 5/8" round, 10 ga. rails, with at least five (5) rails, 4ft tall, and 20ft in length. On metal posts metal plates for attaching the rails shall be welded to the post. Welded in at least 2 locations per panel to each metal line or gate post. Gates shall be heavy-duty steel with heavy-duty hinges to minimize sagging. Gates will be 12ft 14ga. Each gate will have a drill stem pipe overhang welded horizonal over the gate to support gate posts. Overhang will span post to post and be 12ft tall. The contractor will supply all labor for corral. The contractor is responsible for hauling all materials to the site. Equipment and supplies can be staged at the project location while work is being completed.
