The U.S. Forest Service is soliciting offers for a single award, Firm-Fixed Price contract type with an estimated magnitude for the base and options between $100,000 and $250,000. The Government anticipates awarding a sole contract for the placement of aggregate on Benson Rd in Smithwick, South Dakota. Additional awards, at Forest Service discretion, may be considered depending on Forest Service need and results for proposal evaluations. Scope of Work: Work for this project consists of reconditioning designated 3.0 miles of Benson Road #7045 roadway per Base Item (with Optional Items for additional designated reconditioning) to a fourteen (14) foot wide roadway in preparation for furnishing, hauling, and placing approximately 2,520 cubic yards of specified aggregate base course as Shown on the Drawings. Finish blade the placed aggregate to provide a smooth running surface with a centerline crown, as applicable. Reference (FP-14) Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges as shown in the Specifications and Drawings. This opportunity is set aside for total small businesses. Location(s): This project is located within the Fall River Ranger District, Buffalo Gap National Grasslands, Nebraska National Forests and Grasslands.
