The Medicine Bow-Routt National Forests and Thunder Basin National Grassland project includes removal of a temporary ACROW bridge single reinforced single land truss bridge and installation of a single span steel beam superstructure with timber running planks and micropile foundation on National Forest System Road (NFSR) 792.1 -0.1 over South Fork Michigan River near Gould in Jackson County, Colorado (latitude 40.501970°, longitude -106.022007°). A site visit was conducted prior to solicitation. Project Location: The Michigan River Bridge located on National Forest System Road 792.1, south of Highway 14 near Gould, Colorado. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of construction for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Contractors are required to be actively registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting a proposal and to be considered for award. Proposals will be solicited by the USDA, Forest Service for the Michigan River Bridge Replacement project. This is not a solicitation and in no way commits the Government to award a contract. The intent of this notice is to ensure that prospective vendors may see the site and proposed work prior to heavy snowfall and issuing the solicitation.
