Presolicitation Notice Stanley Lake Road and Alturas Lake Road Pavement Maintenance Project, Sawtooth NF 1240LT22R0054 PROJECT DESCRIPTION This project consists of chip sealing 4.4 miles of Stanley Lake Road as well as the reconstruction of approximately 1.7 miles of Alturas Lake Road and then chip sealing approximately 5.1 miles of double lane road. Other work associated with the project includes asphalt concrete patching, crack sealing, pre-leveling in areas where the existing asphalt is uneven and at road intersections, and striping. Reconstruction of the road includes but not limited to grinding the existing surface, placing six inches of roadway base mix, compacting and placing three inches of hot mix asphalt for a 24 foot double lane roadway surface. PROJECT LOCATION Stanley Lake Road is located approximately 5 miles west of Stanley, Idaho on Highway 21. Alturas Lake Road is located approximately 22 miles south of Stanley, Idaho on US Highway 93. Site Visit May 17th, meet at Stanley Lake at 11 (at the information kiosk near the entrance) and Alturas Lake at 1330 near the intersection with Hwy 93. Contract Time The contract time is 60 days beginning after September 5, 2022 (Labor Day). The magnitude of proposed project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Project drawings will be provided as attachments to the Request for Proposal (RFP). The complete solicitation package will be attached and made available only through SAM.gov, https://sam.gov/content/home on or within 15 days of this notice. Anyone wishing to participate in this proposed procurement must obtain their copy from SAM.gov. Copies will not be mailed from the Contracting Office. All amendments will be posted on SAM.gov. Contractors will be solely responsible for obtaining amendments from this site to update files. This requirement is being solicited as a Small Business set-aside in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 19.5, with the intent to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract. A single award will be made from the solicitation. All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at http:www.sam/gov/ before award of contract; failure to register in the SAM database may cause your firm to be ineligible for the award and removed from consideration.
