This project consists of removing existing perimeter fencing and gates around the Logan Admin Site and installation of new 6 ft chainlink fence with 3 strand barb wire around the site. A new canteleverd slide gate and 5 ft man gate will also be installed. The site must be secured at the end of work each day. B. The work shall include: removal of existing fencing and gates as indicated on the drawings, installation of new fencing and gates, placement of aggregate material at the west entrance and low spots within the yard. The existing stop sign is not up to current standards and also needs to be replaced. Optional bid items are as follows: 1. “Bid Option #1” Includes the following Items: Removal of existing marked trees and tree stumps along the fence and property line. 2. Option #2 – Mechanical Gate Installation” Includes the following items: The work shall include: installing a new cantileved slide gate operator, installing new cantilevered slide gate (rollers, brackets, adjusters) so that the newly installed gate operates smoothly and consistently prior to attaching to slide gate operator, sawcutting existing asphalt where applicable and installation of a free exit loop, controls key pad, installation of electrical line for the automatic operator, patching existing asphalt where it has been removed for the new electrical line, and construction of minor chain link fencing to close in the existing gaps between the newly installed existing slide gate and the existing chain link fencing. 3. Option #3 – Manual Slide Gate Installation” Includes the following items: The work shall include: installing new cantilevered slide gate (rollers, brackets, adjusters) so that the newly installed gate operates smoothly and consistently, and construction of minor chain link fencing to close in the existing gaps between the newly installed existing slide gate and the existing chain link fencing. 4. Option #4 – Pedestrian Gate Installation” Includes the following items: The work shall include: installing a new pedestrian gate so that the newly installed gate operates smoothly and consistently and construction of minor chain link fencing to close in the existing gaps between the newly installed existing slide gate and the existing chain link fencing.
