Project includes restoration of nearly 8.5 miles of trail, including relocation of trail, restoration of Tread and Clearing, Talus Sections, Turnpike, Retaining Walls, Restoration of Drainage Structures including Rock and Log Waterbars and Drainage Dips, Switchbacks and Mobilization. Project is within Designated Wilderness, primitive tools only. PROJECT LOCATION GMUG National Forests, Ouray Ranger District, Ouray County, Colorado. Period of Performance will be One Hundred Twenty (120) calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP). Anticipated award date is approximately August 22, 2022. The magnitude of proposed project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Project specification and drawings will be provided as attachments to the Request for Proposal (RFP) at no charge.
