The purpose of this construction solicitation is to remove trees from the roadside by clearing and grubbing and scattering or chipping the slash. The work includes clearing and grubbing on multiple roads under the base contract including NFSR #17, NFSR #26, NFSR #31. Clearing and grubbing on optional roads will be done based on funding available after the base items are awarded. Optional roads include the NFSR #14, NFSR #23, NFSR #24, NFSR #25, NFSR #28, NFSR #293, NFSR #436, NFSR #447, NFSR #449, NFSR #456 and NFSR #460, and NFSR # 532. A site visit will not be held; prospective contractors are encouraged to visit the site themselves to get a better understanding of the requirement for their proposal.
