Amendment 1 - Posting Questions and Answers, Sign in Sheet and extending responses due date. This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS AND SOLICITATION Description The purpose of this project is to complete road maintenance on various National Forest Service Roads within the Sulphur Ranger District and Clear Creek Ranger District. Road work items may include road reconditioning, construction of rolling dips, installation of culverts, roadside brushing, grading, aggregate placement, etc. A work list and pay time description will be provided prior to mobilization of each individual site. The contractor will work with the appropriate Forest Service Zone Engineer to outline the exact locations of the work items for each site. The Forest Service Zone Engineer will provide the Contractor a map and a kmz file with the work outlined for their use. If work items need to be added or removed, a change order to the contract must be issued and approved by the Contracting Officer. Optional road work items may be awarded if the need is agreed upon before work starts and the funding is approved by the Contracting Officer. An onsite prework meeting will be completed with the contactor to clarify location and type of work that is expected for each site prior to construction. The location of each work item will be provided via GPS and staking. Project Location: The Project Area is located within the Arapahoe and Roosevelt National Forest within the Clear Creek Ranger District and the Sulphur Ranger District. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of construction for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000 Contractors are required to be actively registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting a proposal and to be considered for award.
