This project will consist of replacement of an existing Trail Bridge with a 4 foot x 36 foot Steel Prefabricated Thru Truss Bridge. Project also includes Restoration of 357 L.F. of Single Track Bridge, along with installation of Drainage Structures and Removal of Existing Bridge from Government Land. The project is located within Gunnison County, Colorado approximately 11 miles north of Crested Butte, CO.

Proposals are being solicited by the USDA, Forest Service for the Trail Riders Bridge Replacement Project located on the Grand Mesa Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests in Gunnison County, Colora... Proposals are being solicited by the USDA, Forest Service for the Trail Riders Bridge Replacement Project located on the Grand Mesa Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests in Gunnison County, Colorado. Work shall consist of but is not limited to 1) disassembling and removing one bridge from government property; 2) restoration of 357 L.F. of single-track bridge; 3) furnishing and installation of one new prefabricated bridge; 4) performing installation of drainage structures; and 5) performing all other improvements as specified in the Statement of Work. The contractor shall provide any and all equipment, labor, materials, tools, supervision, equipment including safety and other incidentals necessary to perform all work for the Trail Riders Bridge Replacement Project. This solicitation is anticipated to be issued on or after May 20, 2022. Work is estimated to begin on or about August 1st, 2022. Contract time for this project is 90 calendar days. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of construction for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Contractors are required to be actively registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting a proposal and to be considered for award.
