Proposals are being solicited by the USDA, Forest Service for the Gunnison 2022 roads contract. Work consists of technical road construction and maintenance which supports two timber sales. Work shall include, but is not limited to, staking, soil erosion and sediment control, clearing and grubbing, removal of structures and obstructions, excavation and embankment, roadway obliteration, aggregate courses, road reconditioning, culvert and drains, cleaning drainage structures, fence, gate, and cattle guard maintenance, turf establishment, and permanent traffic control. Additional work could include work on privately owned adjoining lands or adjoining federal lands managed by other federal agencies. Project Location: Taylor Park area of the Gunnison Ranger District. NFSR 764 and associated spurs, as well as NFSR 748.1C and associated spurs comprise the extent of this road reconstruction contract. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of construction for this project is Between $25,000 and $100,000. Contractors are required to be actively registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting a proposal and to be considered for award.
