Offerors are requried to follow instructions for submitting bid bonds in accordance with Section L of the solicitiaton. This project includes hauling, placing, spreading and compacting 33,745 tons of commercially purchased 1”-minus aggregate along 11.62 miles of the Piedra road (NFSR 631). Reconstruct the roadway before placing aggregate, reestablish ditches and pull the shoulders in to a standard 22’ width. See attached solicitation, specifications and drawings for details.

Proposals are being solicited by the USDA, Forest Service for the Reconstruction of National Forest Service Road (NFSR) 631 project located on the Pagosa Ranger District, San Juan National Forest in Colorado. The project includes hauling, placing, spreading and compacting 33,745 tons of commercially purchased 1”-minus aggregate along 11.62 miles of the Piedra road (NFSR 631). This requirement is being solicited as a Firm-Fixed Price Request for Proposal. The approximate start work date will be the June 21, 2021. Proposals are due at 1:00 p.m. MST, June 14, 2021. The estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The solicitation will be available on approximately May 14, 2021 and may be downloaded from this site at that time.
