The U.S. Forest Service plans to solicit offers for a single award, Firm-Fixed Price contract type with an estimated magnitude for the base and options between $100,000 and $250,000. The Government anticipates to award sole contract for water system replacement at Sunshine Campground. Prospective offerors are required to submit quotes in accordance with the forthcoming solicitation. This opportunity will be set aside for 8(a) businesses. Scope of Work: This project consists of construction of a drinking water treatment system, selective demolition, replacement of the existing well components, and replacement of four drinking water hydrants. Location(s): This project is located at the Sunshine Campground in the Norwood Ranger District on the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests. The site is approximately 9 miles southwest of the Town of Telluride, in San Miguel County, along Colorado State Highway 145. The Government intends to issue a formal solicitation via a Request for Quote (RFQ) in accordance with FAR 13, following this announcement, on or about 15 days from the publication of this announcement. The solicitation and if applicable, any amendments, shall be posted on SAM.gov. Responses will be due 30 days after the solicitation is posted, unless extended through an amendment. There may be a question and answer period/pre-proposal conference before quotes are due. Interested offerors must be active in SAM.gov at the date and time quotes are due to be eligible for award. Quotes submitted by contractors without an active record in SAM.gov will not be considered.
