The new exclosure will be smaller than the prior exclosure (approximately 46 acres with a 1.1-mile perimeter). The new fence will be built inside the remains of the existing fence. Removal of the existing fencing materials will be accomplished by the Forest Service using means independent of this project. No trees will need to be removed for this project. Location of the new fence boundary will be marked by Forest Service staff prior to project initiation. In accordance with the statement of work.
