The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service (FS), Intermountain Region, Manti-LaSal National Forest has a need for Aggregate meeting the specifications in the attached Combined Sysnopsis/Solicitaiton. Amendment 001: The purpose of this amendment is to extend the response deadline from 6/14/2023 at 10:00 AM MT to 6/15/2023 at 1:00 PM MT to allow for clarifications. Amendment 002: The purpose of this amendment is to extend the response deadline from 6/15/2023 at 1:00 PM MT to 6/21/2023 at 1:00 PM MT, and to clarify that the traffic control for this project need only consist of a sign that says "Haul Trucks Ahead" as you leave the paved road, since the unpaved road where the aggregate will be delivered is one of the forest's higher traffic roads. Amendment 003: the purpose of this amendment is to clarify a sentence in the statement of work. "Unloading, piling, reloading at this stockpile location will be considered incidental to delivery and will not be paid as a separate item." The intention of this statement is to give vendors flexibility in delivery, in that if they would like to haul the aggregate to the stockpile location in belly dumps, pile it there, and then reload it in an end dump to deliver to the roadway, they can do that or they can haul and place it directly onto the roadway during the hauling hours listed in the solicitation. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
