The US Forest Service is seeking 3 ATVs delivered to US Forest Service Richfield Yard, 600 N 400 East Richfield UT 84701. The ATVs must be capable of off-trail travel, 4 season operation (Spring, Summer, Fall and winter) and single person capacity. The ATVs will be used as utility vehicles for towing project supplies to the work site or study area. The Range program projects may include dragging small water tanks, carrying fencing materials, bags of cut weed plants, and fuel for chainsaws. The ATV is used to reach areas inaccessible or too rough for a truck. Fuel will be carried on ATV at times. Pictures and specs of the 3 possible trade-ins are included in the solicitation attachment.
