See attached Amendment 001: Q&A The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service (FS), Intermountain Region (R4), Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, Evanston Ranger District has a need to purchase a snowplow equal to a BOSS XT V-Plow, to be installed on a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD. The snowplow will be used to plow heavy amounts of snow on a variety of surfaces including asphalt, gravel, and native surfaces on roads and in wide parking lots. The salient characteristics of this plow are it’s 9’2” blade width to allow plowing in an efficient manner, steel backboard to prevent breakage while plowing snow on gravel surfaces, and the spring arrangement of this plow is uniquely adapted for gravel and native surface so that roads and parking lots are not damaged during plowing.
