The Boise National Forest and Mountain Home Ranger District are soliciting the purchase of certified electrical services at its Lucky Peak Nursery complex, located at 15169 E. HWY 21, Boise, ID 83716. The awarded business will connect electrical service from the electrical meter to the Forest Service’s new helipad access gate. The purchase is for the connection of electrical service to the gate and quotes should include all needed supplies and staffing. Forest Service personnel will be on site to assist with logistical concerns. Trenching and cover up of the underground connection are not included for this solicitation. The timeline for the requested services are contingent upon a power drop from an adjacent power line and connection to the electrical meter by Idaho Power, scheduled for early October. An anticipated period of performance for the service would be 9/30/2022 – 11/30/2022, although a precise performance schedule will be forwarded to the awarded business after the power drop has been scheduled. The successful quote will completely fill the RFQ document and return the document to jason.king2@usda.gov by the indicated time. The awarded business will have NAICS code 238210 in their SAM portfolio or be willing to add the code at time of award. Service will be provided at the Forest Service’s Lucky Peak Nursery complex, located at 15169 E. HWY 21, Boise, ID 83716. The access road leads to the complex’s helipad and is at the western boundary of the facility. A map and photos of the area are contained in section D of this solicitation.
